RSF Bathrooms Customer Terms and Conditions
In this agreement the terms have the following meanings:
- "Customer" means the user or buyer purchasing a product from RSF Bathrooms.
- "Supplier" means any supplier who RSF Bathrooms markets the products of.
- "Agreement" means the contract between RSF Bathrooms and the Customer to which these conditions will apply.
- "Product" is the item that RSF Bathrooms will market on behalf of the Supplier.
This Agreement shall apply to all Products purchased by a Customer via the RSF Bathrooms web site. By agreeing to these Terms your statutory rights are not affected.
All online transactions are in £ GBP and are processed by Sage Pay. Sage Pay provides a secure purchasing environment online and handles all credit and debit card payments.
We accept all major credit and debit cards including: Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Diners and JCB.
Once your order is complete and you successfully submit payment through the Sage Pay service you will receive an e-mail with confirmation of your order. This means that your bank has authorized the transaction.
When an order is placed RSF Bathrooms will send a confirmation order email to the customer. The item will be delivered direct from RSF Bathrooms to the Customer, or via courier, using Parcel Force (Royal Mail) or LT Baldwin (Pallets). RSF Bathrooms will add their contact details to the delivery note. This is the point of contact if there is any problem with the order.
When the Product has been dispatched RSF Bathrooms will notify the customer through email via a Parcel Force automated tracking email. In some cases, when using our own drivers, contact will be made directly from RSF Bathrooms to the customer to arrange a suitable date/time.
Delivery timescales vary depending on each product and can be checked on the product pages themselves. Some of our products are made to order and will therefore be handmade on placement of an order by the customer.
Special orders, custom colour finishes, hand-made products amongst other things have delivery times that vary greatly, custom radiator finishes can be anywhere up to 6 weeks, and some furniture that is made-to-order can be up to 8 weeks for example. This will be made clear to you either over the phone, on the product page, or shortly after the order has been placed.
In the case that you are not home for delivery -
Royal Mails standard procedure is to first attempt to leave the parcel with a neighbor, and if unsuccessful, the goods will be stored at the nearest local post office for collection.
We are unable to assist when a Parcel is left with a neighbor. If you would prefer parcels not to be left with a neighbor, it is your responsibility to inform Royal Mail. You can read more about this on their website:
Short, incorrect, missing, or damaged deliveries -
In the rare case of any short, incorrect, missing, or damaged items on delivery, you must contact us within 3 working days to inform us of the situation, so that it can be rectified as quickly as possible to avoid any inconvenience. Items delivered incorrectly must be returned in resaleable condition, with the original product packaging, they cannot be installed, fitted or used, as this would be acceptance of the product.
- Please note: Under no circumstances will deliveries made be taken into the property, and instead you should ensure a recipient is on site to receive goods at time of delivery. RSF can not be held responsible for damages caused to goods, property or any other damage, after it has been signed for and delivered.
If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, with the exception of custom items & others (as listed per our FAQ & Returns page), we will offer a refund or an exchange as long as this is requested within 14 days of receiving your order. After this request has been made and confirmed by RSF Bathrooms, you then have a further 14 days to return the item to our address.
Any reports for items that arrive damaged, or are incomplete, must be made in writing via email to: email@example.com within 3 working days, after which a resolution will be offered in form of a product exchange or refund upon RSF Bathrooms receiving the items and after inspection.
Goods returned that are unwanted, must be returned to the Supplier in perfect condition and accompanied by the order confirmation. RSF Bathrooms is not liable for postage, shipping or taxes due on returned goods. Please take into account postage and shipping times when returning goods.
We recommend using Recorded or Special Delivery when returning products since RSF Bathrooms will not be responsible for Products lost or damaged in transit. Postage will be refunded only if Products are faulty or an error has been made on the part of RSF Bathrooms.
Special finishes on certain radiators, or made-to-order furniture, and other similar custom items may incur a charge if canceled after a certain time, and may not be returnable or cancellable at all. We encourage you to check the relevant product page for information or email/phone our sales team.
Cancellation of an Order
If for any reason you wish to cancel your order please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org detailing your order number, intention to cancel, and reason. Please note that made-to-order or custom items may not be cancellable, and we recommend checking with RSF Bathrooms via email/sales prior to purchase to confirm this.
RSF Bathrooms is VAT Registered at present.
Customs and tax charges may be applicable for shipping to countries out with the European Union (EU). RSF Bathrooms endeavour to put the correct Customs Clarifications / Commodity Codes on parcels. However, we cannot be held responsible for import duties and charges.
EU Member States (as at May 2007) include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
Intellectual Property, Copyright & Your Privacy
All Products distributed by RSF Bathrooms will remain RSF Bathrooms intellectual property. Any Design produced by a Supplier carries a copyright and cannot be reproduced without written consent.
The Customer will not hold RSF Bathrooms responsible for any infringement of copyright relating to copy contained within a Product.
It is the Product Manufacturer's responsibility to ensure that any Product Design is lawful, does not infringe any Copyright or any other laws.
RSF Bathrooms will not, under any circumstances, reveal your personal information to any third party, except to external courier companies, who we shall inform them of the minimum required details for the purpose of delivery . These companies are Parcel Force UK, Milbray Pallet Company.
Alterations to Terms of Business
RSF Bathrooms reserves the right to alter these Terms of Business at any time and will replace the Terms of Business on our web site when we do so.
Distance Selling Regulations
The following information is extracted from the www.dti.gov.uk web site. RSF Bathrooms complies with all Distance Selling Regulations.
Distance selling means selling and buying by phone, mail order, via the Internet or digital TV. Such transactions are covered generally by normal buying and selling legislation, but they are also covered by special Distance Selling Regulations.
Distance Selling Regulations give protection to consumers who shop by phone, mail order, via the Internet or digital TV:
The protection includes:
- The right to receive clear information about goods and services before deciding to buy;
- Confirmation of this information in writing;
- A cooling off period of fourteen working days in which the consumer can withdraw from the contract;
- Protection from credit card fraud.
